How many years have you been modeling?

One.

What is your favorite thing about modeling and why?

My favorite thing about modeling is I can express myself uniquely depending on the clothes I’m wearing. And this makes me challenge myself to become the best version of myself.

What is your least favorite thing about modeling and why?

I like everything about modeling because I believe that everything that comes my way is either an experience or a lesson. Also, I don’t dwell on negative things. I see to it that I enjoy every moment.

Modeling Gigs

Tell us about your first professional gig: Who was it for?  What was it like? Where was it? When was it? How did it go?

My first professional gig was for Forever21. It’s called Glow up Summer collection for 2019. It was held in Emeryville, CA. Everything was professionally orchestrated; from the venue set up, rehearsal leading to the actual event. I really had fun dressing up. It feels awesome that I am able to wear the latest fashion and makeup trend of summer. I am truly grateful for the opportunity given to me.

Tell us about your best gig: Who was it for?  What was it like? Where was it? When was it? How did it go?  What made it the best for you?

The best gig was wearing Jill Pillot’s Rooster collection. The event was held in Santa Rosa, CA last year. I am so happy and grateful that somebody purchased the clothes I was wearing. I felt that I gave justice to the piece that made it standout. And also, I was the model that was featured in the event flyer.

Tell us about your worst gig: Who was it for?  What was it like? Where was it? When was it? How did it go?  What made it the worst for you?

I never had a worst gig.

If you could model for any brand, which brand would it be and why?

There is no specific brand as long as I can give justice to the look and have my audience see the beauty of the piece from the designer’s perspective.

Modeling Advice

What advice would you give someone who is just getting started in the industry?
